About us
Hi! I’m Tanya, owner of Jack of all Designs, 2 young crazy boys (nicknamed Cyclone and Hurricane… boy mums relate!!), 1 cat, 8 dogs, chickens, ducks and a couple hundred cows! Coming to you from rural NSW.
HOW DID IT ALL START?
14 years ago, my husband (fiancée at the time) was working in Papua New Guinea and I was working for a travel agency in QLD in design and marketing. After we got married in 2012, we decided to move back to the family farm in NSW. I have been lucky enough to work from home and continue to work in design/marketing for the last 8 years.
Then in 2014 I became a mum. The most life-changing, turn your world upside down, crazy, hardest, satisfying and rewarding thing I’ve ever done!
And… I couldn’t find a baby book I liked! I searched and searched… but they were way too detailed or just not quite right. I didn’t want to pass on a book to my child that was half filled in. So I put my creative juices to work, and created my own for him!
Well, one thing led to another, and I created a few different designs and started selling them. And to my surprise, they sold! Turns out you love them as much as I love creating them! My products are always evolving, adding different items, or adding different designs. I now design and stock milestone cards, prints, notebooks, greeting cards and more.
I now run Jack of all Designs as my little love project, as well as working in design/marketing for some wonderful clients (particularly in the travel industry).
I feel very blessed to be able to work from home doing something I love, while being able to take time to spend with my boys. Because it is so true what they say… The days are long, but the years are short.
It truly does mean the world to me.
